Magic Mouse Bootcamp Windows 10

I have been using an Apple Magic Mouse '1' for quite some time now on my Windows 10 PC and I was very content except the damn batteries that needed replacing every once in a while. So I bought an Apple Magic Mouse 2. Shouldn't be that difficult, right? Disconnect the '1', connect the '2' and go! The mouse works fine except it doesn't scroll. This is how my friend got her Apple Magic Trackpad working on her Windows 10 desktop. You will need a copy of the Apple Boot Camp software from Apple. If you use 32-bit Windows, use this file. If you use 64-bit Windows, use this one. Support for Boot Camp is here and includes a section on getting Mac hardware to run within Windows.

  1. I have a Dell laptop with Windows 10 installed (it's a standard installation, no bootcamp, no MacOS). I have an Apple Magic Mouse I want to use with it, and it has successfully been found via standard bluetooth setup, however the scrolling doesn't work.
  2. Wondering if anyone could help. I'm running 13' 2017 MacBook Pro and have recently put Windows 10 on using Bootcamp. I have both a Magic Mouse 2 and Magic Keyboard but they don't seem to work when running Windows. They connect to the MacBook and in settings it says 'paired'. They work for like 15 seconds and then stop working again.
  3. INSTALL MAGIC MOUSE ON WINDOWS 10 (NON APPLE HARDWARE) DOWNLOAD BOOT CAMP SUPPORT SOFTWARE 5 OR OBOVE. Need to use your Magic Mouse on a windows PC? Heres a quick tutorial on how to do just that on any PC running Windows XP/Vista/7/8/8.1.
  4. If you're a fan of Apple's Magic Mouse you can use it on Windows, however after pairing via Blue Tooth (the code is 0 0 0 0) you'll find that the touch scrolling doesn't work. It's easily fixed however, Download Boot Camp Support Software and unzip, in my case that was unzipping BootCamp5.1.5621.zip.

I have struggled with this issue for quite some time now.

Dev c for linux. I'll start by saying I have both a Magic Mouse and Magic Mouse 2 and both will not work within Windows 10 Bootcamp but work perfectly in OS X 10.15 (Catalina) on my 2017 Macbook Pro 15'.

Apple Magic Mouse Bootcamp Windows 10 Scrolling

Troubleshooting I've done so far:

  • Booted into OS X, removed the mouse from bluetooth, booted into Windows and attempted to pair however Windows usually doesn't detect the device when searching but when it does it doesn't successfully pair.
  • Downloaded the latest Bootcamp drivers directly from Bootcamp application and reinstalled them.
  • Checked power management preferences in device manager and made sure it was unchecked
  • Booted into OS X, connected mouse then rebooted into windows and had the device show under bluetooth as 'connected' but doesn't actually work.

ANY help would be greatly appreciated as I feel as though I have no other choices other than attempting a complete erase and install of windows which isn't ideal. Thanks in advance!
